New Faces for Friday - Meet Kai A. Pineda
Since October 1999, Kai A. Pineda has been a worship leader, song writer, teacher and speaker. Her thirst for an encounter with God moves her as she leads worship, writes songs and preaches the Word. Kai has developed F.A.S.H.I.O.N. Sense, a Ministerial Training Institute and mentoring program for young women. She travels to sing and to teach God's Word.
Much of Pineda' s worship style comes from her own private time with the Lord. During a two year period when she was enrolled in Bible College, a new sound of worship began to take form. A prophetic flow, as well as a deeper revelation of God's heart, brought Kai to another level in her ministry. The stirrings of the Authentic Movement were born.
The next step came in 2011 when God revealed to a vision of people walking up a hill with their arms lifted. At the top of the hill was God, and his hands were stretched towards them. As they continued walking towards God, above their hands was written the word; ‘Authentic.’ God said; "I am calling you to lead a revolution that will bring Authentic worship in the earth."
Kai began to change on the inside and those changes were reflected on her outside. The people around her found themselves seeking to deepen their own intimate relationships with the Father. Her husband, Pastor Alex Pineda, felt it as well and it was he who told her it was time to release an album. On November 13th, 2011, Speechless was recorded in Cahokia, Illinois. This live worship CD & DVD is a collection of God-breathed songs meant to inspire and impact the body of Christ, leading them into a more authentic type of worship.
Kai says, "I desire to see God's heart revealed to humanity in a way where people step into the freedom of God and not the traditions of church. I long for an encounter to happen with the Body of Christ where we exchange our agendas for His, pursue His love, and justice. I have committed my life to being an agent of change and to help in leading this and the next generation into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. God created me to worship him and with every breath I have, I will bless the Lord."
